Actively pursue the multilateral and verifiable elimination of all nuclear weapons with the other nuclear weapons states.

Renounce the first use of nuclear weapons.

End the sole and unchecked authority of a U.S. president to launch nuclear weapons.

Remove all U.S. nuclear weapons from hair-trigger alert.

Cancel plans to modernize and enhance the entire U.S. nuclear arsenal, except for measures necessary to improve its safety until it is dismantled.

Never resume nuclear explosive testing.
