Over the last few weeks, the Brookline Students for Nuclear Disarmament have been working with advocates across Massachusetts to lobby for bills concerning climate and nuclear threats. Since our last lobby day, bill H.738 was voted favorably out of committee! We’re currently planning another lobby day and anticipating a webinar hosted by Mass Peace Action about psychic numbing. It’s been amazing to see our efforts make a difference, and we look to making even more positive changes at the local, state and hopefully federal level, as well as spreading knowledge about the threat of nuclear weapons.
